FRANK GUERRA leads the Altis Cardinal team as Founder and Principal. Mr. Guerra has overseen development and construction of several high-rise and mid-rise condominiums totaling over 2,500,000 (over $500 million) square feet as well as property and asset management of residential and office assets in excess of 1,750,000 square feet. Previously, Mr. Guerra led a distinguished legal career – most notably practicing real estate law at Bilzin Sumberg in Miami. Mr. Guerra graduated with a law degree with an emphasis in real estate and transactional law, and Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in finance, both from George Washington University.
Frank Guerra is a licensed attorney and member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
ALBERTO J. SUAREZ joined the Altis Cardinal team as a Principal. Prior to Altis Cardinal, Mr. Suarez founded Cardinal Development Group, performing commercial development and construction, land re-zoning, land investment, third-party consulting, condo conversions and “work outs”; presiding over $100m in assets. At a young age, Mr. Suarez was entrusted with the development of multi-million dollar projects which he carried out successfully during his tenure at Codina Development. Mr. Suarez was responsible for the development of over 2,000,000 square feet of industrial buildings, 300,000 square feet of office buildings and various retail projects in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
At the University Of Pennsylvania, Mr. Suarez earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the Wharton School of Business and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from The School of Engineering and Applied Science. He later earned a Master’s in Civil Engineering while attending Stanford University.
Mr. Suarez is a certified General Contractor and a licensed realtor in the state of Florida.
GLEN MOWATT plays a vital role in the acquisition, development, asset management and disposition of the Altis Cardinal real estate portfolio. Mr. Mowatt’s key acquisition responsibilities are to perform financial analyses, prepare debt/equity memorandums, oversee the due diligence process and assist in the closing of potential development and acquisition opportunities. Mr. Mowatt is also responsible for working with the property managers, leasing brokers, and lenders to maximize returns for the portfolio.
Prior to joining Altis Cardinal, Mr. Mowatt was the director of acquisitions for a Canadian based real estate private equity fund. In this role, Mr. Mowatt was responsible for sourcing and evaluating new real estate investment opportunities in the Florida market.Prior to joining TMSA, Mr. Mowatt worked as a senior analyst and market consultant at Integra Realty Resources. In this role Mr. Mowatt provided extensive research, analysis and reporting to real estate investors and developers of various property types on market trends, opportunities, marketability and feasibility of development projects.
Mr. Mowatt has earned a Bachelors Degree in Real Estate from Florida State University and a Masters Degree in Real Estate Development from Nova Southeastern University. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), a member of the Economic Roundtable for the Miami-Dade Beacon Council, serves as co-chair of the Nova MSRED alumni association and currently sits on the advisory board for the university. Mr. Mowatt is a licensed realtor in the state of Florida.
GERARDO LOPEZ plays a major role within the Altis Cardinal team as Investment Associate. Mr. Lopez sources real estate investment and development opportunities, and is a key asset in the coordination of acquisitions, dispositions and closings. Mr. Lopez has experience brokering commercial assets with a value between $5 million and $100 million.
Mr. Lopez graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in General Science. Mr. Lopez is a licensed real estate sales associate and a member of the National Association of Realtors, Commercial Real Estate Association of Dade County, and the Florida Association of Realtors.
SOL CAVALLINI is the Head of Asset Management for residential and office assets for Altis Cardinal. Ms. Cavallini oversees unit sales, leasing, lease management and day-to-day property management. Prior to Altis Cardinal, Ms. Cavallini’s experience consisted of asset and contract management at Neo Development and the Related Companies. Ms. Cavallini has a Master’s Degree in International Studies from the University of Miami.
